The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insured individuals that they are guaranteed all their money back, if one day the bank were to go bankrupt. This reform program was created in June of 1933. The FDIC helped lower, middle, and upper class people of the United States. The FDIC helped impact the United States economy after the stock market crash in 1929.
